Widdy darts is a well-known brand within American darts, renowned for our high-quality craftsmanship and rich history. Proudly made in Philadelphia, PA, since the early 1900s, Widdy Darts has been a cornerstone of the American darts community for over a century, preserving the tradition and authenticity of the game. These darts feature a wooden shaft and turkey feather flights, embodying the classic design of traditional American darts. Widdy darts are frequently used in leagues and tournaments, reinforcing their role as a symbol of the game’s heritage. The Widdy dartboard, also made of wood, complements these darts and is a staple in many bars and clubs where American darts is played. The enduring popularity of Widdy darts has helped maintain the traditional feel and playstyle of American darts, ensuring its unique identity remains vibrant and celebrated.

 

When can I expect delivery or pick-up of my order?

All of our boards and darts are handcrafted with precision and care. As noted on our product pages, order processing takes a minimum of three weeks. Since we work in batches and fulfill orders in the order they are received, processing times may vary slightly. We appreciate your patience as we craft your order!.

 

Pick-Up Information

Our pick-up hours are Monday through Friday, 11 AM to 3 PM at our Lansdale, PA location only. We operate in a shared space with our parent company, Jillamy, and cannot leave orders unattended for after-hours pick-up. Once your order is ready, our customer service team will contact you to arrange a pick-up time.

When you arrive, please drive cautiously in the lot and follow the signs to the Widdy Darts office, located next to the Jillamy loading docks.

If you cannot make your scheduled time, please contact customer service to reschedule your appointment.

Important: This is an active warehouse facility—please use caution when entering and exiting the Widdy Darts office.

Widdy Darts Return/Exchange Policy

If your purchase doesn’t meet your expectations and is unused, you may request a full refund or exchange within 30 days of purchase. Exchanges are also accepted within 30 days as long as the items remain unused.
 

Once we receive the returned/exchangeable items, they will be inspected. If any signs of wear or use are detected, the items will be returned to you, and an additional shipping charge will apply. Refunds and exchanges will not be processed until the items have been received by Widdy Darts, and only after inspection will a refund or exchange be processed.
 

If Widdy is responsible for the return (such as an incorrect item shipped or an item not meeting specifications), return shipping costs will be covered. If the return is due to reasons unrelated to Widdy (such as ordering the wrong item), shipping costs are non-refundable.

If you experience any quality concerns, please contact Widdy Customer Service. All issues are reviewed and resolved on a case-by-case basis. If a dartboard (paper or wood) or darts arrive with an issue out of the box, please do not make any modifications or take actions that could compromise the integrity of the board, frame, darts, or their components.

 

Once a return or exchange label has been issued, the item is expected to be shipped back within 48 hours of receiving the label, unless a pickup is scheduled by Widdy MFG, or Widdy has been made aware of and has acknowledged a delay in returning the product.

For any in-person exchanges/ refunds, the product that is being returned/exchanged must be present at the time of the return/exchange or the the refund or exchange process will not take place.

For any concerns, contact Widdy Darts by phone or email before attempting to address the issue yourself. Any alterations that affect the board, frame, or internal components (paper or wood) may void warranty protections.

Do you sell through resellers or third-party retailers?

No, Widdy Darts does not work with any resellers or third-party retailers. We only sell directly to customers through our official channels.

Any Widdy darts or dartboards purchased from other retailers are not eligible for warranty, refunds, replacements, or exchanges through Widdy Darts or Widdy Manufacturing.

Refurbished & Non-Authorized Products

Refurbished dartboards or darts are not eligible for any Widdy warranty, refund, replacement, or exchange. Widdy Darts does not sell refurbished products directly, nor do we work with or authorize any individual, reseller, or service that sells refurbished Widdy products.

Any Widdy dartboards or darts purchased as refurbished, modified, repaired, or resold by a third party are excluded from all warranty coverage and customer service remedies offered by Widdy Darts or Widdy Manufacturing.

​​Do you sell mixed dozens of darts?

​At this time, we do not offer mixed dozens. All darts are sold by the dozen, and each dozen must be the same color. Because our darts are handcrafted in batches, offering mixed sets would slow down our production process and impact quality. We appreciate your understanding and continued support of our handmade products!

Factory Second Darts may arrive in boxes with various color darts and feather type. Boxes are assembled based on availability of color and feather type.

Care, Use & Warranty Guidelines

Board Rotation

With regular or heavy use, the center should be rotated on a daily basis to evenly distribute wear across the board. Rotating the center helps extend the life of the playing surface and maintain consistent performance over time.

Indoor Use Only

Widdy dart boards are intended for indoor use only. Exposure to outdoor conditions—including temperature fluctuations, humidity, moisture, or other environmental elements—may compromise the integrity of the board materials (paper or wood).

Any damage resulting from outdoor use or exposure to environmental elements will void eligibility for return or exchange. Please refer to the Return Policy for additional details.

Proper Mounting

Widdy boards are designed to be hung on walls only using appropriate mounting hardware.

Please do not use dart stands, floor stands, tripod stands, or any other alternative mounting solutions. These mounting methods can place stress on the frame and board structure and may lead to damage.

​

If any part of the board or frame becomes damaged or compromised due to improper mounting, alterations, or the use of unsupported mounting systems, the warranty will be null and void. Items affected in this way will not be eligible for return, exchange, or refund from Widdy Darts.

Normal Wear

Dartboards are designed to absorb repeated dart impacts. Over time, normal wear and surface marks will occur as part of regular gameplay.

​

Minor surface wear, compression marks, small punctures, or gradual changes in the playing surface are considered normal and are not considered manufacturing defects.

 

Ink and Surface Flaking

Widdy paper dart boards use a traditional silk-screen printing process. As darts repeatedly strike the surface, minor flaking of printed ink may occur in high-impact areas. This is a normal characteristic of paper dart boards and does not affect gameplay or the structural integrity of the board.

 

Surface flaking caused by normal play is not considered a defect and does not qualify for return, exchange, or refund.

 

Dart Condition

Only properly maintained darts with smooth, undamaged steel tips, barrels, and feathers should be used when playing.

 

Darts with bent, burred, chipped, or excessively sharp tips, damaged barrels, or worn/missing feathers may damage the playing surface or frame. Damage caused by defective or improperly maintained darts is not covered under warranty and will not qualify for return or exchange.

 

Impact Damage

Widdy dart boards are designed specifically for use with standard steel-tip darts. Striking the board with any other object—including tools, knives, blunt objects, or non-dart projectiles—may damage the board or frame.

 

Any damage caused by non-dart impacts or misuse of the product is not covered under warranty and will void eligibility for return or exchange.

 

Commercial Use

Boards installed in bars, restaurants, clubs, leagues, or other commercial environments may experience significantly higher usage than typical residential play.

 

While Widdy boards are built for durability, excessive use associated with commercial environments may accelerate normal wear. Claims resulting from heavy commercial usage may be evaluated differently and are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

 

Storage and Environmental Conditions

Improper storage can affect the structural integrity of the board materials.

 

Boards should be stored in dry, climate-controlled indoor environments. Storing boards in garages, sheds, basements with high humidity, or other uncontrolled environments may cause warping, separation, or deterioration of materials.

 

Damage caused by improper storage conditions is not covered under warranty.

 

Product Integrity

Widdy dart boards are carefully manufactured and inspected prior to shipment. To maintain product integrity:

• Do not alter, modify, or adjust the board or frame.

• Do not attempt repairs or structural modifications.

• Do not perform any actions that may compromise the construction of the board or its components.

Any modifications or alterations that affect the board, frame, or internal components may void warranty protections.

 

Quality Concerns

If a dartboard (paper or wood) or darts arrive with a concern out of the box, please contact Widdy Customer Service before using the product.

 

Please do not attempt to repair, alter, or modify the board or darts before contacting us, as doing so may affect warranty eligibility.

Gameplay Variance & Material Characteristics

Widdy dart boards are produced using traditional manufacturing methods and natural materials. As a result, minor variations in surface texture, print alignment, color tone, and compression may occur between boards or production batches.

 

These characteristics are normal and are part of the manufacturing process. Minor cosmetic variations that do not affect gameplay or structural integrity are not considered manufacturing defects and do not qualify for return, exchange, or refund.

 

Alterations, Repairs, and Refurbishing

Widdy dart boards and darts are designed to be used in their original manufactured condition. Any alterations, repairs, refurbishing, or modifications to the board, frame, internal components, or darts will void the warranty.

 

This includes, but is not limited to:

• Repainting or refinishing the playing surface

• Re-screening or altering printed areas

• Sanding, cutting, or reshaping the board surface

• Removing or replacing frame components

• Attempting to repair internal materials

• Refurbishing or rebuilding the board structure

• Modifying or altering darts, including barrels, tips, or feathers, beyond normal maintenance

 

Any board or darts that have been altered, repaired, refurbished, or modified in any way that affects their original condition will not be eligible for warranty coverage, return, exchange, or refund from Widdy Darts.

 

If you believe your board or darts may have a defect, please contact Widdy Customer Service before attempting any repair or modification so the issue can be reviewed.

Limitation of Liability

Widdy Darts products are intended for recreational use in accordance with these Care, Use & Warranty Guidelines. Widdy Darts is not responsible for any damage to property, injury, or personal harm resulting from improper use, mounting, alterations, or failure to follow these guidelines.

 

Use of Widdy dart boards and darts is at the customer’s own risk. Widdy Darts’ liability for any claim arising from the use of its products is limited to the original purchase price of the product.

 

This limitation applies to, but is not limited to, damages resulting from misuse, commercial use, exposure to environmental elements, improper storage, or the use of modified or altered boards or darts.
